Increase your reach with Netviewer webinar services. Netviewer will help you conquer the global market and can help you span all time zones. The presenter version and their website are available in seven languages and they provide 24/7 multi-lingual support. With webinar services you can invite hundreds of qualified prospects to sales presentations, software demonstrations and seminars within minutes.
Netviewer webinar services also provide the tools needed for one-on-one communication such as VoIP, teleconference and chat support. Netviewer also facilitates video and image sharing and file transfers with the ability to set a variety of permission levels. Sessions can be password protected and locked down any time after the session is started.
We like the highly customizable email invites and reminders of these webinar services. Not only can you choose color and layout but you can also add your own logo and a topic image. You can also set a variety of registration requirements, specifying what information you want to collect pre-event, like name, contact information, business size and so on. With Netviewer you can also generate a preregistration survey to collect any kind of information you desire that could be used for pre-qualification or to simply help you create a webinar presentation that can more directly address the concerns of your attendees. There were only a few things that kept this service out of the top spots, one being that we would like to see session polling and another would be no application download requirement for attendees.
Netviewer webinar services are reasonably priced and support one moderator and up to 200 attendees per webinar for fewer than $70 per month USD. Setting up a webinar is simple; basically it walks you through all the steps one-by-one, including setting up permission levels and passwords. Permission levels can be set up both ways, from presenter to participant and vice versa. For example, file transfers can be set up to require permission to transfer one way or both ways or not at all.
Netviewer webinar services offer quite a bit of flexibility and customization when it comes to creating invite announcements and registration requirements. For example, you can add your company logo to correspondence and choose color schemes. You can also set registration requirements and even require them to fill out a pre-registration survey. They do not provide polling during a webinar, but the pre-registration survey tool is useful for learning what the attendees wish to gain from the webinar or for target marketing purposes.
In terms of the actual webinar session, it offers chat support, screen sharing, video sharing, file transferring and more. You can switch between presenter and participant views, lock down sessions, add emoticons, activate web cameras and load moderator profile images. You can also set what items you want to allow to be viewed such as task bars, new applications, Netviewer panel, desktop and system information. You can also record sessions for future viewing or training purposes.
Netviewer webinar services have all of the audio and video elements that we were looking for, including VoIP, screen sharing, video, webcam compatibility and teleconferencing. They offer VoIP interactions as part of the basic service; however, teleconferencing costs a bit more. We did notice a slight delay with screen sharing, but the delay is brief and expected with this type of service.
When it comes to ease of use in terms of webinar services, the most important element for success is that it is easy for attendees to register and attend a webinar. We found Netviewer a bit more difficult to use than some webinar services on the attendee side; luckily their system check can help prevent some errors. After talking to technical support we discovered that Java needs to be up-to-date to get the small application needed to view the webinar to download automatically. Other services make it simpler for attendees by not requiring a download to view the web presentation in a browser.
On the presenter side, a Netviewer application does need to be installed and, in our case, we had to bypass our security program to get the application to install. After the initial installation we found setting up our first webinar trouble-free. To facilitate the inviting of attendees, Netviewer webinar services will send you a copy of the invite to your default email inbox, such as Outlook. At that point you can use your Outlook contact list to send out email invites. You can also add contacts and send email invites out on-the-fly during a session if you desire.
Netviewer webinar services offer multi-lingual technical support 24/7 by telephone, and they post quite a bit of helpful information online for browsing. Their online service center includes a download center, a document center, FAQs, instructional webinars and a system test. In the download center you can download moderator and participator versions, including Mac and PC versions. In the document center you can access product manuals, case studies, quick guides, white papers and more. Their FAQs section answers general and technical questions, and since they are in the webinar business, they host frequent helpful webinars. Their systems test is an easy way to find out if your computer can successfully run Netviewer applications.
These webinar services also post information on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. For international clients their website is available in seven languages, including Spanish, French, Polish and Dutch. We contacted their technical support with a technical question and received our answer within a day, and we also received a follow up phone call. The only additional support service we would like to see Netviewer offer is chat support.
We had quite a few interactions with Netviewer support and found them responsive and helpful, which we found exceptional, considering the differences in time zones – proving they do indeed offer 24/7 support. These webinar services provide nearly all of the web presentation tools we were looking for and supports up to 200 participants for one low monthly price. We think you will find that Netviewer can help you host high-quality presentations, which may give you the edge you need over your competition.
Pros
This service is extremely easy to use on the presenter side.
Cons
They do not offer chat support and telecommunication costs extra.
Netviewer is well worth checking out.
